Yet another christmas card !!!

Hiya,
Well I finally got a chance to finish my second christmas card last night.
I just had to wait for the glossy accents to dry before I could take a photo, have you ever thought its dry enough to take a photo and watched in horror as your glossy accents slumps down the page, I only made that mistake once :)

I used a new camera which I think has taken better photos, but I think it has washed the colours out a little, I cant win.

Well I hope you like it I used:
Stamp:Tilda hanging ornaments
paper: Magnolia Vintage Christmas Red Ornament
Glossy Accents
Martha Stewart Vintage Lace punch around the page set
The copics I used are
For the reds: R29, R27, R24, R22
For the browns : E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
For the Skin and Blush: E02, E00, E000, E0000 and R20
The charm is from my stash.

I gave Louise her little package today so I can finally reveal one of the projects, the other, well I will post that one when I know Chris has got it.
So what did I make for Louise...............

Ta dah

Louise loved the bed socks I made for Janice, so after my trip to Ally Pally for the Knit and Stitch show, I got the wool, so I have been knitting for the last couple of weeks.

The paper is: Kaiser Craft Snap Dragon
I also used the martha stewart Vintage Lace punch which if you squint you might see I used this around the edge of the box
I used Glossy accents on the wax seals on the pressies, and of course Hero Arts Prisma glitter.
The little bit of knitting I did on really, really, small needles and slid onto the cocktail sticks, so louise could get a little glimpse of what colour wool I used which was from the Sirdar Crofter range.

Did you know !?

Hi all,
I was really excited when I popped into Sirstampalot Tuesday and found out that the new Christmas Magnolias where in stock.
I did wonder last year why did Magnolia launch a few stamps with the name Lucia in, well I had a look on the internet and lo and behold did you know that on December the 13th they celebrate St Lucia, she is the bringer of the light and to be chosen to play her is an honor. It is customary for the girl playing St Lucia to where a white dress with a red sash and to have a crown of candles on her head. St Lucia has hand maids and they carry either a single candle or a star on a stick. So after my ahhhhhh moment I decided I would stick to tradition when I coloured her in.

I used October Afternoon paper sing the carols
Hero Arts prisma glitter
Making memories Vintage findings gem pins
Spellbinders nestablilites labels eleven
Tilda as Lucia magnolia stamp
Copics I used are
For the hair E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
For shading on dress C3, C1
Reds R27, R24, R22, R20
Skin E02, E00, E000, E0000 and R20 for blush

I just had to have Sneaky Tilda she reminded me of when I was younger and I used to get caught looking at my presents trying to work out what they were before I opened them!!

For this card I used Sneaky Tilda Magnolia stamp
Nitwits Deer Friends paper - Stripe Red and Merry White
Martha Stewart Doily Punch
For the copics I used
Blues are B97. B95, B93, B91
Hair, Trousers E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Skin E02, E00, E000, \E0000 and R20 for blush
I am working on my photography skills but I think you will probably see better photos at the Sirstampalot gallery!!!!!

All of the above is pretty much an explanation of why this card ended up being so simple.

What else can you do with A Mummy!!?

Hiya,
This is just a quick post because this is a very basic card, a friend of mine has to go for an opertation on her shoulder and as we both have the same wicked sense of humour I altered a Halloween stamp into a get well soon  :)

The stamp I used is Mummy Edwin
I used Labels two Nestie, and the paper is Bo Bunny Alissa Love You.
I coloured with copics C5, C3, C1, E02, E00, and for the pink slippers R85, R83, R81.
I used a flower punch and cut the petals off to get the bunny ears.
I coloured the edge of the sentiment with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, and I am sorry before I entered the world of blog land, and someone mentioned don't throw out all your packaging,  I took all my stamps out of their packet and didn't make a note of what the sentiment stamps were!
Hope you like it :)
